Abbeydale Chrysanthemum 28 Piece Tea Service
Abbeydale of Duffield, Derbyshire, 28 piece tea service, in the very popular Chrysanthemum pattern.

As the factory was only operating for 9 years, this is becoming extrenely difficult to get hold of, especially in quantity.

This service consists of:

1 x tea pot
1 x sugar bowl
1 x milk jug
1 x sandwich/cake plate
6 x cups and saucers
6 x 5" side plates
6 x 8" salad plates

Unusually, the cups are decorated fully to the inside as well as the outside.

All are in excellent unused condition, with no wear at all.

A rare opportunity to own a complete service, and an excellent investment for the future.

Copeland Spode Blue Scale Exotic Bird Dessert Service c.1910
Absolutely stunning Copeland Spode Dessert Service after Worcesters 'Dr Wall' scale blue design.

Comprising of one large fruit bowl, two shaped dessert dishes and six 11 1/4" dessert plates.

Printed and painted with exotic birds and foliage in gilded borders.

Printed marks to the back and a painted R4692 pattern number.

In excellent condition, with no cracks or crazing. Gilt is also excellent on all pieces.

A beautiful collectors service, looks stunning on display.

Stefan Nowacki Lynton Derby Porcelain Seascape Scent Bottle
Superb Lynton Porcelain Scent Bottle with silver fittings.

The Lion finial has a gilded inner scent spatula. Fully hallmarked to the outside.

Hand painted miniature seascape with amazing detail, signed to the lower edge S D N, by the much sought after Stefan Nowacki. Famous for his maritime paintings and superb floral bouquets.

Fully marked to the base.

In excellent condition with no restoration or wear to the gilding or paintwork.

Measures only: 8cm tall x 4cm across the base.

A rare find for a true collector of Nowacki's work.

Rare Rockingham Floral Encrusted Scent Bottle - c.1830
Beautiful and very rare Rockingham flower encrusted scent bottle with a yellow rose styled stopper. Dating to c.1830-42.

The flowers hand painted with enamels and gilt encircling tendrils.

There is a similar piece in this years Millers Antiques, smaller than this one at 10cm tall, with a guide price of 810 - 900!

In good condition, there has been a fair amount of now old, but well executed restoration, particularly as to be expected to the flowers, leaves and stopper, perfection is not to be expected in a piece of this age and delicate nature! No cracks and only the odd tiny chip to the flower petals and leaves. This piece has been much loved and cared for.

Fully marked to the base with a puce printed griffin mark.

Measures approx:

12cm tall.

A lovely and very rare, collectable piece, also very decorative indeed.

Wilton Ware Fairyland Lustre Vase c.1930s
Beautiful Large A G Harley Jones Wilton Ware octagonal waisted lustre vase.

Hand painted with a fairyland landscape in various colours, highlighted in gilt on a mottled light blue ground.

In good condition, general age related crazing, and a 1cm hairline to the rim which is very difficult to see. Minor wear to the rim gilt. There have been no repairs. This piece has been very well looked after. The colours are stunning.

Fully marked to the base with a blue stamp.

Measures approx:

24cm tall.

A lovely vase, very decorative indeed.

George Jones Crescent Part Tea Service Set c. 1930
Beautiful George Jones and Sons, Crescent, 22 piece, part tea service, dating to c.1930.

Consisting of a shaped tea pot and shaped milk or cream jug. 2 x cake/sandwich plates, 6 x cups, saucers and side plates.

Decorated with copious amounts of gilding on a very pretty mottled pink background.

In near mint condition, no crazing, no gild loss. There have been no repairs. These pieces have been very well looked after, considering that they are over 70 years old.

Fully marked to the bases.

Measures approx:

Tea pot:

5 3/4" tall x 10" across the widest part spout to handle.

Cream jug:

4 1/4" tall x 4" handle to spout.

A lovely service and still very usable, also very decorative indeed.

Rare Aynsley Lidded Vase c.1900
Rare piece of early Aynsley with various insects on a gilded lace border. Includes butterflies, bees, beetles etc.

Vase has a pink ground and gilded rims.

Marked to the base with an early green mark.

In good condition, no cracks or crazing. There are a few scratches to the pink ground.

Fine Antique John Ridgway Trio, Pattern 476 c.1810
Beautiful very early and now rare Ridgway tea and coffee cups and saucer. Dating to c.1810.

They have cobalt and gilt narrow borders and central panels with an all round gilded floral rose pattern on a light blue ground.

In very good condition, none of the pieces have damage and only a very minor amount of age related wear to the gilding. These pieces have been much loved and cared for.

Marked to the bases with a handpainted black pattern number 476.

Measures approx:

Saucer: 5 3/4" in diam.

Cups: 2 1/2" tall x 3" in diam and 2 1/4" tall x 3 1/2" in diam.

Lovely and very rare, collectable pieces, also very decorative indeed. I have more pieces of this pattern in stock (23 in total), please ask if you are interested.

Samuel Alcock Hand Painted Landscape Trumpet Vase c1820
Beautiful, early English porcelain trumpet vase. Dating to c.1820. Probably by the Samuel Alcock factory as they were the only ones to use the puce fractional number with a one series.

Contains a hand painted, but unsigned, landscape scene within an acanthus leaf border set against a green ground. Gilded foliate design to the back and gilded rimand foot.

Marked as you see to the base in puce with an early fractional number 1 over 122. Also a circle containing two dots.

The colours are nice and crisp and the landscape is in excellent order. The gilding is only lightly worn. There are three hairlines to the rim of approx. 1cm, 1.5cm and 2.5cm.

Measures approx:

4 1/4" tall x 4 1/8" in diam across the rim.

Lovely, and rare piece, of very good quality.
